How to Multistream on Multiple Cam Sites
Gary Gabagool:
You said something about multistreaming. So how do you do that?
Danielle Banks:
I use OBS. When I stream through OBS, it actually allows you to input multiple stream keys from multiple different sites.
I have every single site that allows live streaming listed on the sidebar. Chaturbate is my main one. You have to have one main site on there.
I’ll start out just on Chaturbate for a little bit because sometimes my Chaturbate can get going. Once it starts to die down, maybe after two to three hours, or if it starts out slow, I’ll give it about a good 45 minutes.
And that’s another thing I want to tell models: this is not easy money.
Sitting on cam for three to six hours is going to be the normal when you are growing, essentially.
You’re going to have your very good days where you make your goal in an hour or two, and that’s awesome. You should totally take that.
But don’t ever take a slow day as something that’s against your confidence or anything. Slow days exist in camming, and I think we’re all trying to portray an image here, but slow days exist and it’s totally fine.
Some of the most gorgeous strippers that I know will come home and they’ll be like, “Oh my gosh, I owed money to the house at the end of the night.”
Sometimes it just wasn’t busy enough.
Using Different Cam Sites to Your Advantage
Danielle Banks:
What I do is I’ll just start logging what’s happening.
Okay, MFC. Stripchat in the background.
The problem with Stripchat is you can’t BRB and things like that. So this is another thing you have to look up in the terms of service.
When girls are streaming and they can put up a BRB screen, like when you’re changing out your different scenes, you can do a streaming start or something like that.
It was my impression the last time I checked, and I could be wrong, that Stripchat didn’t allow the BRB stream. You could get up and leave your set, but you weren’t allowed to have something going in the background or a blank screen.
So I have to be mindful of that when I’m on there.
Joystick, I’ll do that in the background. I’ll do CamSoda in the background and SinParty in the background sometimes.
I’ll kind of rotate through those main ones.
One site will get going and maybe they’re doing something that’s going to draw attention into the other cameras.
And sometimes what happens is, if the site that you’re on does allow you to multistream, it’s almost like the Chaturbate guys know what the MFC token sounds like, and the MFC token guys know what the Chaturbate token sounds like.
Then you kind of get them into a war against each other because they want to be the better site that’s making you come better.
Gary Gabagool:
Interesting.
Danielle Banks:
It doesn’t always work out like that, but you kind of have to read the rooms, essentially.
You have to see what’s happening, what’s going on, what are people leaning more towards?
What’s the theme? Is everyone just in the room?
I’ve had nights where I’m streaming on three sites at the same time, and everyone is just in a “lay back, Danielle, we just want you” kind of mood, because I do some pretty intense shows.

Multistreaming Requires Multitasking
Danielle Banks:
I do want to put that warning up: if you are going to multistream, you have got to be able to multitask.
Gary Gabagool:
So with that, are you typing a lot? Or are you just interacting?
Danielle Banks:
I’m interacting.
I’m saying usernames because these guys aren’t really watching the chat. They’re watching you.
They don’t understand what’s going on in the chat as much as they should. That’s kind of what we’re here for. We’re here to entertain.
That’s what these sites are essentially for.
I’ll just sit there and identify people by their usernames and chit-chat.
Gary, there’s been times where no one was talking in my chat, but I was staring at a camera and I invented a username called Stevie.
Me and Stevie had a whole conversation on that station with Stevie.
Then people are like, “Well, wait, what happens at the club that night? What are you talking about with Stevie?”
So they’re kind of following along.
I’m having a fun dance with an imaginary friend and his name’s always Stevie.
Gary Gabagool:
Fucking smart. That’s fucking brilliant.
I think every episode this fucking comes up.
The bitches that just fucking sit there, they’re fucking just typing and shit. Like, you’re doing a livestream.
I come from the fucking YouTube world. You’re doing a livestream. You don’t fucking type.
Yeah, of course you could type, but you have to interact. You’re doing a live show.
Fucking typing doesn’t fucking mean shit. Stop typing.
If you’re going to type, fucking talk. Say something.

Stay Engaged With Your Audience
Danielle Banks:
I might have people who want to tip for a PM-type situation.
I learned very quickly, though, that they can privately message me if it’s something like that.
I have a wireless keyboard next to me, though, and I’m a quick-ass typer.
But in terms of my phone, I even avoid it.
I’ll go on my phone and say, “Hey guys, I’m sorry, I’m not feeling this playlist on Spotify,” because normally I’ll just AirPlay it to my TV to have better sound quality and I’ll switch the playlist.
But they’ll see my phone in my hands.
Even when they tip for my Snapchat, I’ll tell them, “Hey guys, I’ll PM them my Snapchat name since they paid for it.”
I’ll go, “Listen, I don’t Snapchat while I stream, so if you don’t get an answer from me right away, I promise I’ll get to you right afterwards.”
They know that I try to stay off my phone unless we’re actively looking something up.

What Should Introverted Cam Models Do?
Danielle Banks:
I do recommend that models don’t sit on their phones.
And hell, if you don’t even want to talk, if you’re shy and you’re not the talkative type, because introverts exist in this space as they should, models don’t have to be extroverted.
But even do some dancing, you know, something like that.
If you’re a painter, paint on stream.
Clean.
Fold laundry.
Get some activity going.
If you want to do something, you can even read a book.
But you’re reading something.
I recommend having something that keeps you engaged while you’re streaming.
I’ll start reading scenes out loud.
So I’m still kind of being me.
I’m very, very extroverted.
Gary Gabagool:
Couldn’t you tell you’re extroverted, Danielle?
Danielle Banks:
Of course. I’m from Jersey. That’s how we roll.
So that’s how I incorporate something when I want to read something.
I have a list. I have a whole stack right here that I’m trying to get through.
So if the show dies down a bit, I’ll start reading scenes out of books.

Finding Creative Ways to Keep a Stream Entertaining
Danielle Banks:
It’s kind of just trying to find the comical way about that and everything.
I’ve done Alexander Hamilton readings on my stream just to kind of screw with people.
It’s not always goofy. I do it.
Gary Gabagool:
I just thought about you in one of them white powdered wigs doing that.
Danielle Banks:
Was that president?
Gary Gabagool:
Yeah.
Danielle Banks:
He didn’t make the presidency, but he thought…

He’s the one who got our… He established our banks, our two-party system, and he got into that deal with Aaron Burr.
