Gary Gabagool: Welcome to Cam Girl Diaries. I’m your host, Gary Gabagool. Of course, I’m the third cousin to three-time Omega World Champion Pervert Pete.
We’re doing this live. I haven’t done a live show in quite a while, and we’re live on Pervert Pete’s channel. It’s okay because I’m related to him, so don’t get mad. I know he’s not here. I hear he’s coming back, but that’s a whole other thing.
Like I said, welcome to Cam Girl Diaries. This is the podcast where real cam girls share real stories, real advice, and real experiences from inside the cam industry. Whether you’re a creator or just curious about the world behind the screen, you’re in the right place.
Today we have Sophia Sloane, who has been nominated for the XMA Rising Streamer Award.
Sophia Sloane: Rising Streamer.
Gary: Oh, shit. I’m sorry.
Sophia: Same thing. Close enough.
Gary: Rising Streamer. So, first off, how did you get started in the business?
Sophia: Oh my goodness. All right. Hi. I’m Sophia.
How did I get started? I’ll start with this: I had no idea this world, this whole center of the internet, even existed before Christmas Eve of 2014.
I was sitting at home on Christmas Eve. My kid was sick and sleeping, and I was at the end of a very long divorce. I was thinking a lot about what I was going to do moving forward. I was stressed out, and I Googled things that stay-at-home moms could do for income.
One of the things that came up was getting paid to talk to people. I’m like, “Oh, I can talk to the wall. I can do that totally.”
I didn’t realize what it was. It was a site called Friendly. Within about half an hour, I realized, “Oh, okay. This is a texting site.” These guys weren’t just looking to talk to me because I’m cool. They were looking for more.
I sat there thinking, “Okay, I really have to decide. Am I going to do this? Because if I’m going to do it, I’m going to do it.”
So I decided to do it. Within a month, I was ranking pretty high on Friendly, and all of a sudden I had my own income for the first time in about four years.
I researched the heck out of this field. I really have to thank Reddit. There was a Cam Girl Problems group on Reddit that really helped me, and I took advice from other girls.
I went from Friendly to Night Flirt and was on Night Flirt for a while. It was very interesting and very different. There were all different types of people and different types of fetishes. I didn’t know a lot of that stuff existed either.
I was like, “This is great. I’m really enjoying this. I’m learning.”
At the same time, I was suddenly gaining this self-confidence that I used to have when I was younger, but it had kind of gone away.
I started thinking, “I can do this.”
Then I decided on April 1st of last year that I was going to stream. I was going to do this live and see what happened.
I never stopped.
Gary: So you’ve only been doing this for less than a year?
Sophia: Live streaming, yeah. Since April 1st, 2025.
Gary: And when you say live streaming, what sites?
Sophia: Stripchat.
Gary: Nice. Stripchat.
Sophia: Yeah. I don’t multistream. I just stream on Stripchat. They were the first one I did and the only one I do for live streaming. I do other things now, but I only stream on Stripchat.
Gary: And when you stream, what do you do? You just bust out naked and say, “Hopefully people tip me because I’m really pretty”?
Sophia: No. I think I enjoy it so much because I don’t do that.
I like to build more of a relationship with the viewers. I want to humanize myself and humanize them. I realize they’re paying for a service and they’re there for entertainment, whatever that entertainment may be.
I’ll go in there sitting just like this. Sometimes I’ll have makeup on, sometimes not. Sometimes I’m in bed on my phone.
Gary: So, I go on Stripchat looking for some blonde MILF, and I come across you. You’re sitting there like this. What do you do? Don’t you have to bust out your tits?
Sophia: No. Why would I just give that away? Who are you? I don’t know you.
Gary: All these girls just do that.
Sophia: I don’t know. Wait a minute. So you’re telling me it’s all about personality?
For me, at least, I don’t think it’s looks. I think I’m very much me. I’m authentic. I’m not pretending to be incredibly turned on all the time.
I can be seductive. I can turn it on. I can do it, and I have fun with it. I love it. But at the end of the day, I’m just me.
Someone comes in and I say, “Hi, guys. What’s going on?”
The coolest part of Stripchat, or maybe live streaming in general, is that people are tipping to use your interactive toy.
Gary: What do you use?
Sophia: Lovense.
Gary: Lovense. I’m sorry, I’m not up on the lingo.
Sophia: You should be.
Gary: I know. I should be. If I hadn’t joined this world, I wouldn’t have known about it and I would have been really upset.
Sophia: They have a lot of different products. Internal and external products, interactive toys, machines, and other things I didn’t even know existed.
They also have smaller toys that you can insert or use as vibrators. For men, they have different products that can stimulate different areas as well.
Gary: Wait, they have things you can stick up a guy’s butt?
Sophia: Apparently.
Gary: I’ve heard that, too, but I’m old school. Exit only.
Sophia: You’re just not admitting it, but that’s okay.
Gary: I’m not into that. That’s just my weird thinking.
Sophia: I get it.
But the toy I primarily use is a Lush. The Lovense Lush. The one I use is internal and can be controlled through tips.
Not everyone has their toy connected, and not everyone uses the same one. The Lush is popular, and the Lovense Domi is another big one.
Gary: I’ve had one on my wish list forever and no one’s ever gotten it for me.
Sophia: They’re like, “What the hell? I just want to get off. What do I care what you use?”
But I think it also has a lot to do with control. You can control my toy. You can tip for control.
I started streaming and somehow, I’ve gotten over 91,000 followers on Stripchat. I think it’s around 91,700.
Gary: You got 91,000 followers in less than a year?
Sophia: Yeah.
Gary: Well, you’ve got to be doing something right.
Sophia: I guess. I don’t mean to toot my own horn.
Gary: I’d like to toot your horn.
Sophia: That’s a different conversation.
I finished the month within the top ten by my third or fourth month on there. I’ve bounced around between different rankings, and I’ve generally been trending on the higher side. That gives me more exposure.
Gary: That’s amazing. You look like a hot MILF, obviously, but you also look like you could be a secretary, a lawyer, a nurse. You can fit into all kinds of different personas.
Do you think it’s definitely not just luck?
Sophia: I think luck has a little bit to do with it.
But I’ve also worked my ass off.
A lot of girls join this industry and they’re younger, or they already have an online presence. They already have social media followers, an OnlyFans, Fansly, or something else.
I didn’t.
So me and ChatGPT have created this entire thing from scratch.
A lot of it comes down to lighting. A lot of it is how you speak to people. Treat people how you want to be treated, and know your audience.
Know who you’re talking to.
I don’t talk to my room the same way I’d talk to you right now. I don’t talk to you the same way I’d talk to my girlfriends or my parents. It’s always about knowing your audience.
I think that’s helped a lot.
Plus, the lighting. Right now I have two lamps right there. That’s it.
Gary: I could never get lighting right. I’ve been doing this for many, many years and I don’t know anything about lighting. I just say, “Fuck it.” Two tears in a bucket. I just do what I do.
But I think what you’re saying is completely correct. From my perspective, a lot of it is personality.
There are girls who might have the looks, but they have no personality. They’re just dead in the water.
Sophia: Personality is a huge part of it because you have to build a rapport with your customers.
You could look like a ten out of ten, but if you’re boring, it doesn’t matter.
It’s the same thing with dating. You could date the hottest guy in the room, but if he has nothing going on up here, I’m good. I’m so good.
I think it’s the same thing even if it’s an adult entertainment site. Having some form of intimacy, intelligence, and mental stimulation makes the entire experience better.
I also have a fan club. They have more access to photos and videos, discounted tip-menu prices, and I develop a rapport with them on a more intimate level.
I have a Telegram channel, but I only speak to my fan club offsite. I have very strict boundaries.
When someone comes into my room, they might just be browsing. They might see that I’ve started streaming because they follow me and receive a notification.
People come in and out constantly. The numbers go up and down.
Sometimes it starts with a familiar person coming into the room and me having a real conversation with them because I’m genuinely interested in my regular viewers. I care about them. I’m empathetic. I don’t want to rip anyone off, and I care about how their day is.
I’m genuine when I ask them.
Other times, someone comes in and uses my tip menu. Maybe they want a foot tease. That’s actually really popular.
Gary: I hate feet.
Sophia: I take care of mine. I get regular pedicures, but I never realized foot fetishes were such a big thing until I got into this.
Gary: So, on Stripchat, it’s free for anyone to go on?
Sophia: Anyone can go on Stripchat, but you can’t participate if you don’t have tokens in your account.
You can block people from speaking in your room, so I only allow users who have tokens to participate in the chat.
There are different tiers. You start at blue, then become yellow the more you spend, and the highest ones are red. People without tokens are gray.
I don’t let the grays speak in my room because they’re often just making demands.
I’m pretty straightforward. I’m not a zoo exhibit. I’m not an animal.
If you want porn, there are plenty of places for that. There are so many different sites where you can find videos.
I’m not here to perform acts for you just because you demand them.
That’s my philosophy, and I’m very straightforward about it.
Gary: Obviously it worked for you. I think people appreciate it because they know you’re not just going to give everything away.
People like anticipation. They like the buildup.
Sophia: Exactly.
One thing this industry has taught me is that I’m way more sexually open than I ever knew. Who knew?
Or maybe I’m just more comfortable with it.
Gary: So it’s like preheating the oven.
Sophia: Exactly. You’re not just going to get everything immediately.
Gary: It depends.
Sophia: It depends on the person and the situation.
I’ve never had a one-night stand. Hand on the Bible. I’m not religious, but I’ve never had one.
Gary: You don’t look like a one-night-stand type of person.
Sophia: But I’m on Stripchat. I’m on Sex Panther. I’m doing all these other things now.
Gary: Before this, you said you weren’t even aware of all this stuff.
Sophia: I would have been doing this years ago. Are you kidding me?
I got screwed.
Gary: Why?
Sophia: It’s not just about how easy it is. It’s about the confidence and self-worth it has given me.
I literally wouldn’t have had that if I hadn’t done this.
I think I started during a time in my life when I maybe needed the validation just as much as the people on the site did.
Maybe I needed to know that I could financially do it. I don’t know.
Whatever it did, it clicked something in me that made me realize I’m empowered.
I’m not just going to sit there and let anyone talk to me or treat me however they want.
If I had learned that when I was younger, maybe I would have made better decisions. I don’t know.
Maybe I would have gone on a lot more vacations.
Gary: You can’t change the past. The past is the past. You’re here now.
But it sounds like everything just snowballed for you.
Sophia: It did.
There are differences between premium sites, and Stripchat is a premium site. You have the open room where you can choose whether you’re going to get naked for free or not.
In my experience, because I don’t give everything away, people are more likely to take me private.
There are two types of privates. There’s a regular private where you’re still on camera but you’re typing, and then there’s an exclusive private where it’s more like what we’re doing now, cam-to-cam.
I’ve gotten to know some of my regulars really well. Some would come three times a week for two months, or once a week. Some of these guys I still talk to almost a year later.
They really helped me in the beginning to get where I am now, and I thank them all the time.
When I was in LA for the awards, I even sent some of them pictures and told them, “This is because of you guys. I would still be here without you.”
Gary: And that’s because you built relationships with them.
Sophia: Exactly.
Gary: That’s where it’s at. And that’s true for anyone. YouTubers, Twitch streamers, OnlyFans creators, whatever.
You build relationships with people.
Sophia: I think it’s so important.
There are people who use AI or virtual assistants to reply to messages. I don’t have an OnlyFans, but I think that can take away from the experience and the trust because you don’t know who you’re actually talking to.
Gary: So what you’re saying is the girls who use AI to reply to guys are bottom feeders?
Sophia: Listen, no. You also don’t realize how many men will message you constantly expecting things for free because they’re supposedly your biggest fan.
“I’m your biggest fan!”
Okay. Where’s your appreciation? If you’re my biggest fan, what are you doing?
I get that OnlyFans creators can get overwhelmed. It can be very overwhelming.
Gary: You’re right. I’ll give you that.
To me, it’s all about building relationships.
On sites like Chaturbate, there are couples and people who just stream and talk to people. They don’t necessarily show everything. They build relationships.
That’s where it’s at.
Sophia: Exactly.
If someone comes into my room demanding things, I’ll usually give them one chance. I’ll explain that I have a menu and that if they have requests, they can ask.
But if you’re going to demand things, this isn’t the place for you.
There are girls who start with less clothing on or are completely naked. That works for them. I know some of these girls personally, and they’re amazing. They’re intelligent, they’re smart, and they have great personalities.
Everyone just has their own style.
Gary: Right. Whatever works for you.
Sophia: Exactly. If that’s what you want, go to the girls who offer that. Just make sure you appreciate them because that’s not cool if you don’t.
It’s just not me.
Gary: That’s what makes this industry interesting. You have all these different genres and subgenres.
Sophia: Exactly. I didn’t realize how different everyone’s preferences could be.
I also didn’t realize how different everyone’s anatomy could be. I feel like I’m learning about life all over again.
Gary: Isn’t it crazy when you discover something and realize it’s been going on forever?
Sophia: I thought I knew everything. Turns out I know nothing.
And it’s so much fun. I love it.
I don’t take myself too seriously, either. I laugh at everything.
People have come into my room and said things like, “Ew, grandma, what are you doing?”
I just laugh and say, “How old do you think I am to be your grandma? That’s weird.”
Gary: You definitely don’t look like a grandma.
Sophia: Definitely not.
Gary: People call you “mommy” a lot?
Sophia: All the time.
Gary: Like, “Hey, mommy.”
Sophia: Yeah. “Hey, mommy.” “Will you be my mommy?”
That’s actually one of my most requested things during private sessions. People ask for mother-son role-play.
I don’t do that because it’s against the rules. I’ll do stepmom if that’s what they want, but there are boundaries.
The whole thing has been a learning experience for me. I’ve learned a lot about fetishes and where they come from and why people have them.
I don’t look down on them as much as I originally did.
If someone told me they had some random kink or fetish before I entered this world, I might have thought, “What?”
Now I’m more likely to think, “Okay, what’s going on there?”
I don’t say that to them, but I might wonder what happened in their past that led them to that interest.
Gary: I always try to bring this up on every episode, and nobody goes along with it. I think fetishes and stuff happen because something gets wired in when you’re a kid.
Sophia: There are definitely things people don’t realize they’re into until they’re introduced to them. Then they’re like, “Oh.”
Gary: Exactly.
Sophia: When I was in LA, I was sitting with the COO of the company and we were talking about different fetishes. He asked me what some of the most popular ones were, and we got into a whole discussion about what people are really into and why.
I think a lot of men want to be degraded.
He asked me if people ask me to do SPH, and I had to Google it about ten times before I realized it meant small penis humiliation.
I’m not good at that.
I’m not good at being mean to some stranger.
There are a lot of people who want to be dominated. They’re often successful, very busy, overworked, stressed-out men who have the world relying on them.
I think they just want to be told what to do because they’re telling everyone else what to do all day.
Gary: That makes sense.
What’s with the whole thing where guys want you to talk shit about their penis?
Sophia: People ask me to do it, and sometimes they’re not even that small.
Then I’m wondering, “Do you want me to hype you up? Do you want to hear that you’re actually fine?”
I’m just not good at it.
Gary: So what happens if someone pays you for it and sends you a picture?
Sophia: I don’t have it on my menu, but I do have ratings on my menu.
Gary: So you rate it?
Sophia: Yeah. I go into detail.
Gary: So you’re an honest person.
Sophia: No one’s ever gotten a ten. I tell them I won’t give anyone a ten because I’ve never had a ten.
I have my own metrics that I use.
People send me a picture and I can do the rating live. Some ask me to message it to them, and I’ll do it after the stream because I can’t multitask and do everything at once.
I also stream on my phone or iPad. I don’t have this whole studio setup with a computer where I’m typing and doing everything at once.
Gary: A lot of girls have those setups.
Sophia: Yeah, I know. I can’t figure that stuff out.
Gary: A lot of them are in agencies, too.
I don’t even want to get into agencies. I think most of them are scams. I’ve talked to girls who say agencies take huge percentages and promise promotion, but they don’t seem to be doing anything for them.
Sophia: I’ve talked to girls who were with agencies and had 70% taken from them. They were told they were being promoted, but they didn’t see any results.
I think studios can be different. I think girls in studios can get a lot of protection and support. But it’s also about what someone knows and what they’re comfortable with.
Gary: You don’t need a studio. You don’t need an agency. You’re living proof of that.
Sophia: Without the internet and without doing all the research I did, I don’t know if I would have gotten here.
Gary: Research is important. I’m always hyping that up.
You have to do research.
Sophia: Absolutely.
I continue to put in so much time. Every time I stream, after I stream, I load all the data from that stream into a site or an AI and break it down.
I look at where I could have done better and what I could have done differently.
I’m also in a group chat with a bunch of girls on the site. We ask questions and we’re honest with each other.
Someone might say, “I saw you in your room the other day. You should do this differently,” or, “I’m having trouble with this.”
Having relationships with other people doing the same thing is important because it can be lonely.
It can be really lonely.
It’s nice to have this little girl gang that I can talk to and vent about my workday with.
A lot of girls want to compete with each other, and I hate that.
There’s enough for everyone. Let’s root each other on.
Gary: Exactly.
There are so many guys looking for something specific. You’re going to fit someone’s preferences.
Sophia: Exactly. You can be one thing and someone else can be something completely different.
There’s an audience for everyone.
You don’t know what someone’s into. A lot of this stuff is very private. People don’t necessarily want everyone knowing what their porn preferences are.
Someone could be married to a beautiful blonde and secretly be into something completely different.
I’m not going to be their person, and that’s okay. Someone else will be.
Gary: Absolutely.
On Chaturbate, which I’ve studied a lot, you have girls with professional setups, perfect lighting, everything looking perfect.
Then you have girls where everything isn’t perfect, and they still have thousands of people watching.
Sophia: It’s the experience.
People want to feel something.
It could be completely sexually motivated, or there could be something deeper they’re missing. Nobody is complete all the time. It’s normal to need a little something extra.
Gary: Exactly.
Sophia: I also had a period a few months ago where I lost a lot of weight very quickly.
People who had known me from the beginning started coming into the room saying, “Are you okay? You don’t look well.”
Gary: Did people think you were smoking crack?
Sophia: People actually said things like that in the chat.
I’m like, “Oh my God, you guys don’t know what’s going on. I’m just stressed out.”
I don’t want to look like a crackhead.
One of the guys who had been there from the beginning messaged me and said, “You don’t look well. Something’s going on.”
That really got to me because I was thinking, “Oh shit. I need to be on here. My ranking is going to drop if I don’t stream.”
Gary: You might get some new fans who are into that.
Sophia: Maybe I could have hit that demographic for a little while.
Gary: Besides that, you’ve only been doing this for a year and your numbers have continued to go up.
Sophia: Mostly.
Sometimes I wonder if I had beginner’s luck because when I first started, I’d come on and it would be bang, bang, bang.
But I’m not the new girl on the block anymore. It’s not, “Who’s that girl?”
Sometimes I sit there for ten or fifteen minutes.
I used to get annoyed and say, “If nobody does this in the next five minutes, I’m getting off.”
Now I’m more like, “You know what? I’m just going to chill and let things happen.”
Sometimes those are the best nights.
Sometimes nobody comes in, or only a few people come in. I might end up doing a ticket show, which is a smaller group show that people pay to get into, and then I call it a night.
I used to stay up until five in the morning. Over the summer I was streaming way more hours than I should have.
I don’t have it in me anymore.
Gary: That’s because you’re a MILF getting old.
Sophia: I am getting old. Don’t tell anybody.
Gary: Your audience wants to hear that.
Sophia: Some people say, “I love an older woman,” and I’m like, “What do you consider older?”
Then they say, “32.”
I’m like, “Oh, shit. I’m 32.”
Gary: If I had to guess, I’d say you’re maybe 34 at most.
Sophia: I’m 32.
Gary: Oh. See? I was wrong.
I’ve been open about this. I’m turning 40.
Sophia: Becoming 40 is a hard one in this industry.
I’m thinking, “How much longer can I do this?”
Gary: You’re going to be an actual grandma doing this.
Sophia: I’m a mattress actress.
Gary: Yeah.
Sophia: Although I’m not sure that’s technically the right term because I think you have to do porn to be called that.
But that’s the thing with me. I only do certain things in private.
People will come in and say, “She never shows this. She never shows that.”
And I’m like, “Yeah. Pay for it.”
It’s about self-respect, privacy, and the permanence of the internet.
What’s out there stays out there.
I don’t need everyone to see everything, and not everyone needs to see everything.
Use your imagination, guys.
Gary: And it’s also about the fan base.
There are people who want a girl who shows everything, and there are guys who want someone who doesn’t show everything.
Sophia: Exactly.
I think there’s value in not giving everything away. But there’s also value in the girls who do give everything away. There are top models who do that for their audience, and obviously it’s working for them.
Some girls start out more reserved and eventually get completely raw and explicit on live streams.
Personally, I can’t do that.
It’s just something within me.
I’m not the type of person who’s going to ride a dildo on a livestream. That’s never going to happen.
Gary: Obviously it’s working for you.
Sophia: I think that’s part of my brand or persona, although I’m not really a persona. I’m me.
I’m me here, and I’m me on the site.
I’m just not someone who’s going to do certain things live.
Gary: Everyone has their audience.
There are seven billion people in the world. They’re not all into the same thing.
Sophia: Exactly.
People even ask me to hit my vape again, and I’m like, “Okay.” I’m really into nicotine, so no problem.
Gary: Be careful. You might get one of those raspy voices.
Sophia: I’ve been vaping for about 15 years. I’ve never smoked cigarettes.
I’ve quit before and gone back.
Gary: Hopefully you don’t get lung cancer.
Sophia: If this is the worst thing I’m doing, I’m okay.
I’m also open about being sober. I don’t drink alcohol. I don’t do drugs because I’m not good at it.
I’m open about that in my room, too. I’m like, “You don’t want to see me.”
Gary: And that’s probably what your fans love most. You’re just real.
Sophia: What else is there?
I give credit to girls who can put everything out there. I don’t have that confidence.
There’s probably no amount of money in the world that would make me do it.
Well, maybe there is.
A really high one.
Gary: You just put a bounty on yourself.
Sophia: A really high one. One that’s going to get my kids through college and pay for their weddings and houses.
Gary: Ten million?
Sophia: That’s a lot.
But I’m just too self-conscious about it.
I give it up to the girls who can do that and do it. Go for it. It’s just not me.
People ask me all the time, and I say, “Is it on my menu?”
No?
Okay. Let’s keep going.
That’s another thing about anticipation. If I’m just going to do everything immediately, why even build it up?
Gary: Because the vibes are coming in.
Sophia: Exactly. The vibes.
Gary: That could probably be the worst thing you could do at this point, completely changing what you’re doing and suddenly showing everything.
You’ll alienate your fans.
Sophia: ChatGPT tells me that.
Gary: Really?
Sophia: Yeah. It tells me not to do things like that.
Gary: Nice.
Did you base your entire strategy on what ChatGPT tells you?
Sophia: Not just ChatGPT. Grok, Gemini, too.
I cross-check things, but ChatGPT is usually my go-to.
Gary: Don’t tell people that. They’ll think all they have to do is listen to ChatGPT and they’ll become successful.
Sophia: I have no problem telling other girls how I got where I am.
There are other models on Stripchat that I’ve helped rebrand their entire persona.
They’ll say, “You’re doing something that’s working. I’ve been doing this for six years. I used to kill it, but it’s been slow.”
I’ll show them the prompts I use and exactly how I word things.
Then they’ll come back and say, “Oh shit.”
I’m competitive with myself, not really with the other girls.
Unless it’s the end of the month and I’m close to the top 15.
Then I’m like, “I’m just a few spots away.”
Gary: That’s when you should be competitive.
Sophia: Exactly.
When I was nominated for Rising Streamer, I was rooting for the other girls, too.
The girl who won, I actually went up to her at the beginning of the night and asked, “Do you have your speech written yet?”
I thought she should have won.
There’s no reason not to admit that there are other amazing people in this field.
Gary: There’s got to be millions of people doing this.
Sophia: Probably.
And most of it is subjective.
Gary: Exactly. What makes you better than another girl?
Sophia: Nothing. It’s about what the guys or your fans are into.
I sometimes ask my viewers what other girls they watch, and sometimes I’m really surprised because it’s completely one end of the spectrum to the other.
It’s like, “What mood am I in today?”
It’s hard not to get your feelings hurt when you have a regular in your room and you’ve built this great relationship with them, and then you realize they’re spending time in someone else’s room.
At first, I took it personally.
Then I realized it had nothing to do with me.
I fulfilled one need. Now they’re looking for a different need.
They might come back. They might not.
It’s okay. I wish them well.
At first I felt like I’d gotten broken up with.
Now I’m good with it.
Gary: That makes sense.
Someone might be into the MILF secretary one night and something completely different the next.
Sophia: Exactly.
Gary: I’ve spent a lot of time looking at Chaturbate.
Sophia: Why Chaturbate and not Stripchat?
Gary: I don’t know. That’s just where I got stuck.
I once found this group that was a foursome. It was a mother, stepfather, son, and the son’s wife.
Sophia: What?
Gary: They had to put up a sign saying, “We’re not related.”
It was this bizarre thing.
Sophia: That’s wild.
Gary: They weren’t doing anything explicitly sexual. They were just streaming.
But everything they did was so robotic.
Their tip menu would say something like “Show tits,” and the mother would just pull her shirt down, stand there, and then stop.
There was no personality to it.
Sophia: That’s so strange.
Gary: My wife and I were watching and saying, “Holy shit, is this real?”
We happened to find them on their first night streaming.
Sophia: No way.
Gary: That’s why there were four of them.
The next night the son had left, and it was just the mother, daughter-in-law, and husband.
They eventually put up this giant sign saying, “We’re not related.”
Sophia: They may have been told to do that.
Gary: Maybe.
Sophia: Or, and I’m not saying they were, but they could have been being trafficked.
That’s another thing that exists. There are people who are literally being forced to stream.
Gary: That’s scary.
Sophia: It is.
Some of the girls on the site and I have talked about what you should do if you think something like that is happening.
It’s the roboticness that gets me. There’s just nothing going on there.
Gary: I wonder about that with some of the agencies and setups, too.
Sophia: I don’t know.
Have you heard of Pineapple Support?
Gary: Yeah.
Sophia: I think Pineapple Support is one of the best things in the world.
If you’re watching this and something is going on, go to Pineapple Support.
Gary: Absolutely.
Sophia: Being in this industry changes so much.
I’m not going to walk into a PTA meeting and say, “Hey, I’m on Stripchat. Come find me.”
There’s a stigma that comes with it.
I could write a novel about the intricacies of what happens when you decide to go all-in and do this.
Every area of your life completely changes.
Gary: And you’re only at the beginning.
Sophia: Right.
Gary: You’re only a year in, but I’d still call you a veteran.
Sophia: I have life experience.
But there are still things where I’m like, “What the heck? Is this real?”
I’m sure there are still kinks and fetishes I don’t know about.
Gary: There’s always something new.
Sophia: I once had a taxi driver in New York City ask me if I’d ever had sex with an ear.
I was about 22, with my boyfriend at the time, and we were just sitting there.
The taxi driver turned around and started telling us how the ear was a really great place and that it was his favorite hole.
Gary: Wait. You mean actually penetrating the ear?
Sophia: I guess.
Gary: How big do your ears have to be?
Sophia: I have no idea.
Gary: I have baby ears. I can’t imagine.
Sophia: I swear to God, I will never forget that conversation.
Gary: That’s insane.
Sophia: You’d be surprised by some of the things people are into.
There are also people who are virgins at older ages. I remember that movie The 40-Year-Old Virgin and now we’re talking about people who really do live very isolated lives.
Gary: Like people who live in Alaska, grow up on fishing boats, and reach their thirties without much experience.
Sophia: Exactly.
Gary: You probably get all kinds of requests.
Sophia: You really do.
People ask for things that I won’t do, and I just tell them no.
There are also entire categories of cosplay, fetish streamers, dominatrices, and women who build elaborate costumes and characters.
The amount of work they put into it is intense.
So give those girls some love because they deserve it.
Gary: If you’re into secretarial MILFs, Sophia is right here.
Sophia: I’ve never gotten the secretary thing.
I used to get teacher requests.
Gary: You’d make a great kindergarten teacher.
Sophia: That’s not even sexual. People just tell me I look like a kindergarten teacher.
Gary: I get it. You look very innocent.
Sophia: That’s part of the brand.
The kindergarten teacher.
Gary: Even that sounds weird to me because if you’re teaching my kid, I don’t want to think about you sexually.
Sophia: Teachers have lives outside the classroom.
Gary: I don’t want to know about it.
I’m vanilla.
Sophia: Some guys might find that a badge of honor.
Gary: If you’re into it, that’s cool. You can’t assume anymore.
Sophia: Exactly.
Gary: Are you Gen X or a millennial?
Sophia: I hated millennials when they had the worst reputation. Now I’m like, “Oh, shit. I’m a millennial.”
Gary: That makes sense.
Sophia: I grew up without a cell phone. I didn’t get one until I was a senior in high school.
I got my first computer in middle school, but it was dial-up. You had to sit there forever waiting for the connection.
Gary: AOL.
Sophia: Exactly.
Gary: I remember all that.
Sophia: Now everyone wants everything immediately.
That’s what Stripchat feels like.
You tip your tokens, you hear it, and suddenly everything speeds up.
Then someone wants to control the toy.
Gary: You can make it a competition?
Sophia: There can be a king of the room.
Gary: Oh, right.
Sophia: Whoever tips a certain amount publicly becomes king of the room.
Gary: So whoever tips enough gets to control it.
Sophia: Exactly.
Gary: That’s crazy.
Sophia: There are also different types of users.
Some want intimacy and want to go private.
Others want everyone in the room to know they’re the boss.
Gary: That could be their username.
Sophia: People have some really funny usernames.
Gary: I love screen names.
Remember To Catch a Predator? Those guys had some ridiculous names.
Sophia: There are definitely some interesting names on Stripchat.
There are also usernames that I’ll block immediately.
So be careful about what you choose as your name.
Gary: There are a lot of perverts out there.
Sophia: I think your cousin qualifies, too.
Gary: He’s a nice pervert.
Sophia: That’s what the rapists say, too.
Gary: What?
Sophia: “I meant well.”
Gary: What rapist says they mean well?
Sophia: I don’t know. I don’t talk to a lot of rapists.
Gary: Me neither.
Sophia: Sometimes I say things and immediately think, “I don’t know where that came from.”
Gary: That’s a whole other conversation.
All right, everyone. Definitely go follow Sophia Sloane.
Sophia: My Instagram has been a whole thing.
I was getting shadowbanned, and my page wasn’t being shown. I had to clean it up and remove keywords. I also had to take my links out of the description and put them in my highlights.
Gary: I see a lot of girls doing that now.
Sophia: Yeah. My first highlights have the links.
Gary: I’ve had the same problem. Especially on YouTube, I was putting girls’ Linktrees in descriptions and getting strikes.
So I made a Beacons page for Cam Girl Diaries. Sophia is the first link there, and people can find all her links through that.
Sophia: I don’t use Linktree. I use AllMyLinks.
Gary: Right. Same idea.
So people can go there, find Sophia Sloane, and get all her links.
Sophia: Exactly.
Gary: Well, that was a lot of fun. I think I learned a lot. Hopefully everyone learned something.
Sophia: And if you’re the type of guy who likes to be teased intellectually and seductively…
Gary: That sounds good, but I’m a simpleton. Just bust out your beaver so I can stick my wiener in there. That’s what I’m about.
Sophia: I can convert you.
Gary: You can convert me?
Sophia: Quickly.
Gary: Is that like one of those conversion camps?
Sophia: I can convert guys like you.
Gary: Oh, shit.
Sophia: I’m the MILF next door.
Gary: I like that.
Sophia: I used to get offended when people called me that. Now I’m like, “I’m the MILF next door.”
Gary: Nice.
All right. If you want to hit up the MILF next door, her links are in the description.
That’s it. Thanks for watching, and we’ll check you later.
